Este estudo se baseia na literatura convencional e científica, com o objetivo de compilar as informações relacionadas à espécie Acmella oleracea (L.) R. K. Jansen (jambu), que são relevantes ao seu potencial medicinal, assim como matéria-prima para produtos farmacêuticos e cosméticos.
