Environmental Education is mandatory in Brazil, in formal and non-formal modalities. A population educated about the need to preserve the environment has better conditions to, in practice, demand that governments adopt public policies capable of preserving the local ecosystem. The present research is multidisciplinary, approaching Education and Law, having as a case study the Industrial Pole of Camaçari, State of Bahia, which is the largest integrated industrial pole in the southern hemisphere. Revolutionary Environmental Education was approached in relation to Environmental Law, as an instrument to (in)form the community through educational policies and to break the economic paradigms that reiterate non-compliance with the law, specifically with regard to the submission of Technical Assurance Reports Environmental, which is a cause of great risk to the water bodies of Camaçari.
