He is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. He is currently Researcher A at the Brazilian Agricultural Research and Convention Company between Embrapa and UNIOESTE at the State University of Western Paraná. Has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on Soil Science. Acting mainly on the following themes: No-tillage, soil fertility, nutrient dynamics, crop rotation, soil management and nitrogen.

Abstract

The transition from conventional to organic agriculture is not an easy task, as it involves complicated procedures for peasant families. The objective of this paper is to discuss if the peasant families are able to write down the requirements for organic certification through a case study in a lot of members of the Grupo Bem-Estar, in settlement 72, in the municipality of Ladário / MS, on the border of Brazil with Bolivia. Fieldwork was used, with a qualitative approach, in the second half of 2018. The description of the activities developed by the family was done by the ethnographic method. It was observed that, under the conditions of the peasant family studied, the annotations on the agricultural systems are important bottlenecks between the passage of conventional agriculture, through the agro-ecological transition to organic certification, even though the Social Control Organizations.
