Reference in identification of plant species (Taxonomy) from the Cerrado, Atlantic Forest, Pantanal and Caatinga. Contact Email: astronomoamadorgoias@gmail.com. Works with the production and Physical-Chemical, Structural and Functional Technological evaluation of farinaceous products from citrus and typical fruits from the Cerrado domain, for the production of biodegradable packaging, biodegradable edible coatings based on native, modified starch and Blends, as well as, in extraction and optimization of pectic compounds. Currently, he is involved in the study of X-Ray techniques in pyrene structures and seeds of the Genus Byrsonima; in X-ray Diffractography (XRD); High Resolution Optical Microscopy (MOAR); Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM); Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM); in phytochemical studies of Orchidaceae genera, species native to the Cerrado; in analyzes of volatile compounds (essential oils) from the genera Raulinoreitzia, Myrcia, Sinningia, Citrus and Cochlospermum to obtain new natural antifungal agents. As well as, in Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) techniques in the middle region of the spectrum between 4,000 and 650 cm; in the techniques of Gas Chromatography with Sequential Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/MS), Gas Chromatography with Counter Current Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/CC); Column Chromatography (CC); Thin Layer Chromatography (CCD), Counter Current High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC-CC); Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/FID-HD); in leaf clearing techniques adapted for identification and characterization of species from the Brazilian Cerrado. Currently I am also involved in studies with antifungals and antibacterials in the production of micro and nanocapsules evaluating essential oil, oleoresin, fixed oil and plant extracts of Hymenaea stigonocarpa, Hymenaea courbaril, Fridericia platiphylla, Schinus molle, Protium ovatum, Protium spruceanum, Myrocarpus fastigiatus , Copaifera multijuga, Ceiba, pubiflora, Ceiba pentandra, Ceiba speciosa, Cochlospermum regium, Bauhinia variegata, Bauhinia monandra, Bauhinia rufa and Bauhinia forficata on the fungi Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, Colletotrichum acutatum, Candida albicans, Candida guilliermondi, Candida krusei, Candida tropicallis and Phakopsora euvitis. As well as, in the micromorphological study of pollen grains of species from the Cerrado domain.
